As many of you know, I have spent the better part of the last few months traveling. My voyages have a specific purpose: to discover new and hopefully better treatments for cancer in the United States and around the world. In the last few weeks I have gone to Florida, Honduras and the Bahamas. Particularly significant, I feel, has been the trip to Honduras. This was my first foray into Latin America. I suspect it will not be my last.

When you read these words I will be concluding a trip to Portland, Oregon. A few days later I will be returning to Germany, my third trip in less than a year. After that...who knows? To the limits of my abilities, I will go to investigate wherever the opportunities seem the greatest. Here are a few photos from my recent trip down south.
